Costa Concordia
Costa Concordia is one of the large cruise ships built last years. The company operating with this beautiful vessel is Costa Cruises, Italian Cruising Company operating worldwide and offering some of the greatest cruises. Costa Concordia was launched in 2005 in Genoa from the famous ship-yard Fincantieri’s Sestri Ponente and this is the largest Italian cruise ship, which is ever built. The deadweight of the beautiful cruise ship is 114,500 metric tons and the capacity of Costa Concordia is 3,700 passengers. These facts are really proving the fact about the majesty of this vessel. The overall length of Costa Concordia is 250 meters, which is equals to 950 feet and the beam of the ship is 36 meters, or is another dimension 118 feet. The vessel is really offering large and spaceful public places, where all guests can celebrate their journey on board. The luxury on board is really amazing and all guests will never forget it. The crew is consisted of 1,100 members, who are serving all the guests with the best they can. With the greatest regret we should inform that the cruise ship sank after an accident with collision with a reef close to the Italian riviera. The cruise ship sank on 400 meters off shore from the Giglio Island. Over 70 persons are still missing in the first hours of the disaster.
